- Some Manhwa were transferred to Movie / TV Drama, and got good hit.

- But Manhwa itself is not selling well.
-> [Ruler of the Land] writer Yang Jae-Hyun got very small income, even if it was released over 15-years old & 51 volumes are available.
I've not read [Ruler of the Land] for a while, however it's one of the most famous Manhwa in Korea. It was made into Computer Games 2 times(!), and even 1 Online Game MMORPG. It might earn more money, as I agree.
However [Ruler of the Land] got another chance. It will be adapted into Movie. (Korean newspaper KyongHyang). Will start filming from 2011, shown at 2012. Not sure how good it will be, however could be good news for Mr. Yang (& Mr. Jeon).
